NDMC’s board decided to give 1st interim dividend @ 430 for the year 2017-18 on 26th March 2018. The first interim outgo would be Rs. 1,360 crore, of which Rs. 985 would be the Government’s share.
NDMC being one of the top performing PSEs of Government of India has been giving rich dividends to Government and its shareholders since 1991. During the last 5 years NDMC has paid about Rs. 15,525 crore as dividend to its shareholders of which Government of India share is about is Rs. 12,418 crore. In addition to dividend, NDMC has also gone for buyback of shares in 2016-17, for Rs. 7,528 crore and offer for sale (OFS) during the fiscal which fetched Rs. 980 crore to Government of India.
N.Baijendra Kumar, IAS, CMD while congratulating Board and employees said that he is very happy for NMDC which is going to set new records this year is also playing a pivotal role in socio-economic growth of the country.
